Re: WP Design Plans
so are we really going to dress up? I will, but it'll be hard to practice the throws and test the shots wearing something too formal. would you think khaki pants and a polo/button-up shirt would be good enough?

Re: WP Design Plans
Went well today (Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010)
The paper will be published this coming Wednesday and I am going to go pick up some copies, so if anyone wants a copy let me know and I'll see if they have enough left.
As it stands now, we have 18 holes in place. Longest around 600 feet and shortest was a little over 200 feet; with most holes being between 280-380. We tried to make them tough without being impossible, also we did our best to keep shot selection a part of the game, so it's not strictly one path to each basket.
We are more than happy for any suggestions on the course still, let me know and I will do what I can to meet anyone out there that wants to try it out and walk them through the course as is and we'll note any ideas and hints about any of the shots we have down now. I would love to get more people's opinion about how the course is set up. There are some really fun holes we have out there and I can't wait to get these in play!
Also, there is a lot of clean-up to be done, there are a ton of sticks lying around and Steve brought up a good idea that we will try to get in place soon. We're planning to place a marker near each tee-pad to pile sticks, if each person on every hole would just grab one stick the piles will grow extremely quick and we can have the large piles cleaned easily. This will make the course look much better and also reduce tripping hazards.
Please let me know if you want to go try out the course before we get things finalized! I would be more than happy to show people around the holes whenever I am able!

Last Day this Thrusday
I will be out at WP again this Thursday finishing up the measurements, and reviewing the layout. The course is laid out and if you have a Jackson Guard pass you can find the tee box's and pin locations (they are marked with flags) and play the course. You might want to print out this Ariel first to help you get arround. Still have 4 holes to measure for distance and 4 to add to this map.
If you can make it on Thursday we will see you there....

Re: WP Design Plans
the over head looks great an i see that point an just need to see a basket there with water in the back if u over shoot unless they say no using the beach an where is 8 9 an a few others
8 - 9 etc.
My notes are a little hard to pin point the tee and basket areas for the other pads/baskets and my old mind just can not remember. I have found a better picture and will publish it - I hope on Friday late. I see a few changes that can be made to make it different and maybe better. I will get it right tomorrow and update ASAP.
Re: WP Design Plans
