It's that time of year again folks, and Wednesday Doubles is startin' up again on 3/17/2010 @ 5:00 at Gulf Breeze..........

anyone planning on going to doubles out there make sure to leave a little earlier than you usually would, I left with about 15 minutes to spare last week but there was a wreck on 98 and I missed doubles by about 20 minutes. definitely getting there earlier this coming week!

I will be taking Avery, Val and Nate to play random draw at sunset - hope that as many of you that can make it will drive over.
I hope that you are the one that draws one of them as a partner...

Last week Mike said Doubles would be in Milton tommorow, but the only people who know that are the ones that were there last week. And even some of those can't remember, lol.

You will probably get people showing up at both courses tommorow since it isn't posted anywhere where it officially is, and it is getting pretty last minute at this point.

Me, I'm gonna be wherever the Jenkins's and Nate Doss are, so let us know pease STEVE

So Mike, post something official about the Wed Doubles location please.

Is in ICU and has a heart problem and may be going in for heart surgery tomorrow. He is going to try and get in touch
with Anthony to see if he will run it. I will message the ECDGC and see if maybe Chrispy could run it if Anthony is not able to.
If someone hits the birdy or ace pot they might have to wait for the money until the following week!

Wow, I hope Mike is going to be OK, we will sure be thinking of him...........

I can run the Doubles tommorow, no problem, but I think you should have it at Gulf Breeze, since that is where people expect it to be.

As I suspected, several people have been spreading the word about the special guests that are coming tommorow, and all of them assumed that it would be in Gulf Breeze, so lets go with the flow.

I will be out at Sunset DGC removing Pine Cones and trash if anybody gets out that way this after noon or tommorow before Dubs.

We got must of the back 9 cleaned up yesterday, or at least as much as could be done in an afternoon. Basically we just cleaned up around the baskets and the tee pads, and a couple fairway areas like on #12 and #15 where the pine cones were messing w/ my skip shots

We were going to work on the front nine this morning, mostly on #2, 3 and 4 where the pine cones are excessive.

If you want to bring a rake with you when you come out today, I'm sure you won't have any problem finding some areas that need attention.

On the first Wed of every month, Wednesday Doubles will be played at a different course from Gulf Breeze.

April 7, Doubles will be @ PJC / MILTON

May 5, Doubles will be @ Blue Angel

I was thinking, since we have to park by Pirates Cove, we could for sure play #10 on the field, making 19 holes. I can make up some 19 hole scorecards, let me know.

I was also thinking we should play Pirates Cove and the front 9 on The Gator links. We could use most of the pro tees as well if ya'll are up for it.

I think #8 pro on the Cove is probably unplayable due to overgrowth, and #9 is just unplayable period.

On the Links, #4 and #5 pro may be a bit overgrown to play as well...........

The only problem might be is that some people don't even know where the Pro tees are

Will be in town probably playing at Ferry today till about 3:30. So if anyone wants a ride to come play doubles at the breeze let me know.
