I am a newby

I am new to disc golf, and do not have any equipment, nor have I ever played. I would like to try it with a reasonably expierenced player who could lend me the three basic disks to play with. I am 65 years old, retired, and available most afternoons. I live in Niceville, so Ferry Park is the obvious choice...until White Point is establashed.

Welcome to the sport...it is addicting . I own a disc golf store in Fort Walton ( a block and a 1/2 from the Ferry Park course) and we would love to help you out. I've got some extra discs in my truck, I'll probably be at the course sometime monday, I'll let you know on here when. also this weekend, there is a tournament for the Relay for Life on saturday, we will be having clinics beforehand for people new to the sport or who just want to learn more. and on sundays at 2pm we have a large doubles round. $5 to enter and then $1 birdie pot (8 random holes where if a team gets birdies on all of them they win the pot, currently around $70) and CTP (closest to pin on a random hole)

If you want to come play we'll be more than happy to have you out there on sunday, if you aren't comfortable playing for money with such short playing experience we'll be more than happy for you to play non-competitively
